The Founder
There was clinical skincare for the face. Nothing for the body. So I made it.
I'm a registered aesthetic nurse. I spend my days working on skin — assessing it, correcting it, understanding what damages it and what helps it recover.
After years in clinical practice, I noticed something that nobody in the industry seemed to be addressing.
Face skincare had evolved to a clinical standard. There were protocols, actives, formulations designed specifically for how facial skin behaves — how it responds to treatment, how it recovers, what it needs in the hours after intervention.
The body had none of that. Not for UV exposure. Not for the recovery window. Not at a clinical level.
What I understood from my clinical work is that UV damage doesn't stop when you come inside. The process continues beneath the skin's surface for up to 72 hours after exposure — breaking down moisture, triggering inflammation, accelerating the visible signs of ageing.
This isn't a cosmetic inconvenience. It's a skin health issue that the body care category had never taken seriously.
Every product I found was either a basic moisturiser dressed up with marketing language, or an SPF — which addresses exposure, not recovery. Nothing was built for the 72 hours after. Nothing was formulated to the standard I'd expect in a clinical setting.
So I formulated it myself.
AfterGlow is what I always wanted to be able to recommend — a body recovery formula built around the 72-hour post-UV window, with clinical actives at concentrations that actually do something.
Every ingredient chosen for a reason. Every reason connected to the same window — the 72 hours when skin is most open to recovery, and most at risk if nothing is done.
Face skincare has had this standard for years.
After Glow exists because your body deserves the same.
